Artist Statement

Inspired by picture frames and other portrait-perfect locations at multiple locations in her travels, Relf decided to re-purpose a large, old picture frame into a photo op. Angle's skills made it sturdy and rotatable and together they provided the grass and sky for the perfect outdoor picture. Morgan was recruited to provide the painterly touch with her Dr. Seuss interpretation of nature. It is our hope that this frame will entice many a visitor to become a part of the art in the garden by photographing themselves and friends and sharing it on social media, thus encouraging others to visit the Garden.
